What affiliations does Immanuel have?
Immanuel Baptist Church is affiliated with the Liberty Baptist Association, the Arkansas Baptist State Convention,
and the Southern Baptist Convention. Our beliefs are consistent with the Baptist Faith and Message adopted
by the Southern Baptist Convention.
Where should I park and enter the church when I visit?
Immanuel has plenty of parking available, all of which is located close to an entrance. The parking lot located
to the west of South West Avenue is the best place to park if you are a family with children, if you are
visiting a young adult Sunday School class, or if you are a Young Single Adult. The best place to enter the
church is under the covered drive-through. Our parking lot located at the corner of South West and Cross
is the best place to park if you are a median to senior adult, or if you are not visiting with children.
Use the Family Life Center entrance to enter the church from this parking lot. Handicapped parking is located
near both entrances and Senior Adult Parking is available near the Family Life Center entrance on the North
end of the church.
What are your worship services like?
Our Morning Worship Services are blended in nature. Led by our Celebration Choir, Praise Team, and Praise
Band, we sing a combination of praise and worship choruses as well as hymn-style music with words projected
on a screen. Occasionally, we use both drama and video in our worship services. Our pastor provides a Bible-based
Message, and we offer an opportunity to make commitments near the end of the service. Our Evening Worship
is similar in style, but is more traditional in content.
Is there a place for my children during Sunday School and Worship?
Our Son Country Children’s Ministry provides exceptional Sunday School classes for all ages of children
from birth through the sixth grade, and M.O.B. Student Ministries provides classes for youth in grades 7-12.
When you visit, a Welcome Team Member will be happy to lead you to the appropriate class for your children
and youth. During all worship services, we have a place for children through age three. Children four-years-old
and up join us in our Worship Center.
What kinds of Small Group Classes can I visit?
At Immanuel, we have Small Group Sunday School classes for all ages. Visit the ministries section of our
site to see information about Adult Sunday School classes. When you visit, a Welcome Team Member will be
glad to help you find the right class for you. In addition, every Spring and Fall, we offer in-home small
group Bible studies. Times and places for these will be announced.
